How much does new flooring or a staircase cost?
Every job is priced on its own after a free in-home visit — square footage, subfloor condition and material all move the number. The written quote itemizes materials and labour, and the figure we hand you is the figure you pay.
How long will you be in my house?
A single room is usually one to two days. Flooring through a whole home runs three to five. A staircase recap or rebuild takes two to four days depending on turns, railings and finish.
Can I buy my own materials?
Yes. We install what you have already bought, or supply at trade pricing and tell you honestly which product suits the room. Either way the material breakdown is in your quote.
Do you take away the old floor?
Yes — removal, subfloor prep and disposal can all sit inside the quote. We sweep and stack at the end of every day so the house stays liveable while we work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, fully licensed and insured, and backed by more than fifteen years of the Tricity Windows and Doors name in this region.
Which areas do you cover?
Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Elmira and the surrounding townships from our Kitchener office; Kawartha Lakes, Lindsay and Coboconk from our Coboconk office.
